Melati Classic is a wonderful non-alcoholic aperitif

I was thirsty for the taste of a Singapore Sling, not having any since my discharge from the US Navy. The restaurant I go to is a grill on one side and a lounge on the other. The server in the lounge kept telling me she loved to make mocktails for some of the patrons and I told her about my past love of Singapore Slings, but I quit drinking in 1985. She never heard of the drink before and most of what she offered, as far as mocktails go, didn't appeal to me. We googled non-alcoholic Singapore Slings and came up with 2 that sounded good: one served with Melati and another with non-alcoholic gin. I ordered both of them and when they arrived, we had a drink-off. Both versions were good, as much as I remembered them to be. A joy to be had by all who tried them.

Meh

I had high hopes for this, but it is just not very good. My wife likes it to mix with soda water; but at $40 a bottle, there are lots of other things we can mix with soda. Hard pass for me, and don't waste your money on this one.
