Wilfred’s have made sunshine in a bottle! This premium non-alcoholic aperitif makes the ultimate spritz.

Named Britain’s #1 non-alcoholic drink at the 2020 Great British Food awards. This aperitif has been carefully crafted with inspiration from the classic Aperol Spritz but includes it’s own distinct British twist with subtle use of botanicals such as rosemary.

What does it taste like?

  • Nose: a balance of warming spices, zesty orange & herbal aromatics
  • Palate: full mouthfeel, just the right amount of sweetness, rosemary on the front followed by flavorful & bittersweet oranges, finished with clove & rhubarb.

  • We’d be silly to recommend anything other than what we like to call the “Britz Spritz,” add 1 part Wilfred’s and 2 parts tonic with a slice of orange and you’re good to go!
  • Once opened keep refrigerated and drink within 4 weeks.

Great aperitif

Nice to sip on its own

Great substitute for Aperol

Great taste- a little spicy/bitter, with nice herbal notes. Works well with either tonic water or mixed in a "cocktail" with juice etc. As noted in other reviews, though, it is quite pricey!

We absolutely LOVE this product and want to add it to every mocktail we have created. So far this is the best NA mixer we have came across and will definitely be ordering more!!!

The best NA mixer around. Delicious with tonic water or Fresca and a splash of bitters! Would probably be great in a real mixed drink too. Have a mock tail with this with dinner ever night!

Very nice and I expect I will get more of this!

On the nose rosemary and grape, which I can't say I was really expecting. To taste you get more bitter orange and rosemary, true to the name, with a citrusy tartness, but not too tart. It's much more in the style of a sweet vermouth than, say, an Aperol, IMHO, and I think it's quite useful in that way, although you could use this as an amaro of the less bitter, citrus, variety. On ice it seems to bring down the tart just a tad and bring up the sweetness a little adding a bit of rhubarb coming out but with all the rest of the flavors still there. In all it may not have a great complexity of flavor but it's overall profile, to my taste, is very well balanced. Very tasty. I find mixing this at about a 2.5:1 ration with Versin feels a bit like drinking a very flavorful and complex vermouth for my taste, although perhaps a bit thick in the mouthfeel, rather like drinking a fruit juice. Adding a splash of soda on the rocks seems to balance it back nicely, for me.
