How to make a non-alcoholic Lagerita (Beer Margarita)

The Margarita, as we all know it, is perfect as perfect can be. Simple, classic, and sure to please even those with discerning tastes. We have the perfect non-alcoholic Margarita recipe which you can check out here. But, what could be better, you ask? Well, there’s a simple answer: Beer. Yes, just add non-alcoholic beer to the classic margarita and you got yourself a booze-free Lagerita cocktail. Combine two different worlds and create a fresh and fun twist on the Mexican classic.

We know what you’re thinking: Beer isn’t really used that often in most cocktail or mocktail recipes. When added to the right concoction, however, it can deliver a fantastic jolt of carbonation and make the whole cocktail shine. Beer-based cocktails can actually be quite delicious and as sophisticated as other bar go-tos, and this one in particular makes for a refreshing and tangy combo, adding a touch of brightness to an already sumptuous sip thanks to the carbonation you get from the beer.

But the best part about this non-alcoholic Lagerita recipe is that it’s pretty simple to make! And since our take pairs the beloved crowd favorite cocktail with Fungtn’s non-alcoholic beers, which are not only as good as the real thing but are actually adaptogenic, it means you reap extra health benefits while enjoying a crisp, cold one.

This is still a non-alcoholic Margarita at its core, so a good tequila is key. Luckily, there’s Lyre’s Agave Blanco, an excellent Tequila alternative impossibly crafted to capture the essence of the real thing. It boasts aromas of lemon, saline, agave, chamomile, and pine, with a palate that’s rich and teeming with character, topped off with a touch of citrus and roasted agave, before sliding into an elegant peppery finish.

If you love a good ‘ol Margarita, this zero-proof Lagerita mocktail recipe is almost impossible not to love. It takes a well-known, tried and true, bona fide favorite and gives it a thundering zap of carbonation and fizz, taking the experience to a whole other level. Drink it during game night, summertime, or, heck, drink it whenever you need an energy top-up!
