I had developed a bourbon nightcap habit and decided to try an alternative. Upon first drink, I did not like it. The maple syrup was predominant, a little sweet and nothing like bourbon. However, I have kept giving it a chance and really prefer it over a nightly bourbon. As a plus, it has herbs for relaxation and sleep that really do help. I'm ordering a couple more bottles!

Okay. So I wasn’t exactly sure what to expect but I do know I’ve been wanting to try this for a long time now. It is spicy and would taste good with a hint of orange as recommended, I just need to try that still. I like it so far as a Night cap trying to get off that nightly wine/beer relationship and reduce my alcohol intake. I like it has valerian root which is what I take when I don’t drink. It’s a nice alternative.
This nightcap has a pepper/ginger taste that I found hard to swallow! I hung in there and kept slowly sipping—it was “doable” but not really enjoyable. It got slightly better—the last sip was better than the first!
Great way to replace that on the rocks habit! Delicious and herbal way to help naturally bring on calm in the evening.
