Gnista is best described as complex and intense non-alcoholic drinks that resemble fine spirits. Just like any spirit it can be sipped neat as well as used as a base for non-alcoholic cocktails. Gnista has been made possible through a unique combination of gastronomy, food tech and classic spirit making techniques, where distillation, brewing and barrel aging are central. It’s crafted by hand and in small batches in Skåne, Sweden. Floral Wormwood is bitter and intense and Barreled Oak is smokey and with lots of tannins from oak.

What does Gnista taste like?

Floral Wormwood: potent floral aroma with spices, full-bodied, bittersweet, beet & rhubarb with complex layers from almond, orange, ginger, chamomile, oregano and of course wormwood, long finish that will have your palate begging for more.

Barreled Oak: rich & smoky with warm spices, full body mouthfeel, bittersweet with lots of smokiness & oak, beet, malt, rhubarb, dried herbs & spices, cinnamon, and ginger with a long savory finish.

I’ve tried the Gnista spirits Barreled Oak and it has a complexity and mouth-feel you rarely find in alcohol free spirits. This is also what I’ve missed so since I stopped drinking. Barreled Oak is my favorite! Highly recommended!

I didn't care for either and after 2 sips drained the rest down the sink. Really boring.

Greatly surprised

I was skeptical at first but love these "whiskeys". The barrel oak is a great sipping one, which I was wanting, the wormwood is great for mixing, I suggest with something a little bitter to counter the sweetness.
